Can I host Abak on my own server?
Yes. Abak can be hosted on your own Windows Web server. We can also host your database for you if you don’t have a server.
Can you host my system for me?
Yes. We have a data center where we host our client’s databases. You can also host your Abak system yourself if you have a server.
What kind of server do I need?
You need a Windows Web Server witn Microsoft SQL Server. The complete minimum requirements are here.
What kind of computers do my employees need?
All you need to fill out a timesheet or expense report is a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or FireFox. To produce invoices and reports, you need to install our client, which runs on a Windows-based computer. The complete minimum requirements are here.
Can I fill out my time sheet when I’m not in the office?
Yes, whether you’re in the office or at a client site, you can still fill out your time sheets. Abak is accessible as long as you have an Internet connection. If you don’t have Internet access, you can still work offline and synchronize with the server when you get back to the office.
